The Burmese Malitary government ought to be ashamed of themselves.

If you are a news junkie like me and have been following the news out of the south east Asian country of Burma, i am sure you were angry and concerned for the the thousands of pro-democracy activists, who along with Buddhist monks pour unto the streets to protest the military government brutal rule. After shutting down telephone and Internet access, the military has raided the monasteries of the Monks who were protesting and brutally murdered them, and taking countless others away, with no way of knowing their fate, this is an outrage, the Burmese authority, along with all their friends who support them, like China for one, should be charged with gross human rights violations, let them be taught a lesson, that it is not OK to beat and kill unarmed people only because they want their rights.

here is an Exclusive video smuggled out of Burma showing protesters arrested and beaten by police.

These savages have no regard what so ever for human lives, let alone their own citizens, and the world must make them pay dearly for their actions.

The Iranian president needs some serious help!

Have you ever wonder if the world has gone mad?i saw the president of Iran addressed the students of Columbia university and the united nation general assembly, and i swear i could not believe what i was hearing, that mad man was denying the fact that the massacre of six million Jews ever happen during the second world war, he casually dismissed it as a myth, and i said to myself, how could a nation ever elect someone like this for president? i have always been a left leaning person when it comes to my political views, i have always advocated peace instead of war, but lately with everything that is happening in the middle east, i am beginning to question my stance, how so? you may ask, well when you have a mad man like the president of Iran calling for the nation of Israel to be wipe out from the face of the earth, in the 21st century it makes your blood boil, Israel and her people have a right to live in peace like the rest of the world, if Islam is indeed a religion of peace let it refused to accept men like the president of Iran and Syria who by the way profess to be true Muslim on the one hand and advocate the genocide of an entire nation on the other hand. until than i am of the opinion that these mad men, these Hitler wanna be must be stop, and they must be stop at all cost, no matter what the price. The United state made a huge mistake by invading Iraq and removing Saddam from power,Saddam was the only person Iran feared,it takes a mad man to stop another mad man, when Saddam was in power he was the check and balance in that region, now that he is gone and the united states stretch thin on two fronts, fighting two wars,Iran is doing all it can to create chaos, and bring the west to its knees. if we are to secure a future in which our children will play and not worry about terror, we must act now, stand up for what you know is right, i have live in and seen war up close and personal, in my native Liberia, i do not wish it upon anybody, but what else can the sane world do? stand by and watch those genocide advocating, Hitlers wanna be develop and have weapons of mass destruction? than God help us all. i say no for our children sick, to evil men like those two, and yes to a peaceful and more just world were we can all work together for the good of mankind.

Here is a video of the Iranian President talking about the Holocaust.

The golden Years of R&B, the sixties and the seventies.

On my way to see some friends of mine today, i turn on my car radio so i can listen to some relaxing music, i was thinking some R&B or soft rock will do, but to my surprise, i could not find anything worth listening to, don't get me wrong, its not that i don't like hip-hop or some hardcore music, its just that i am really selective, and when i was growing up as a little boy in Paynesville, Liberia, my mother, a big fan of Motown always had classic R&B playing in the house. so i grew up listening to great artist like Sam Cooke, the Temptations, Smokey Robinson, and many more of the 60s and 70s great singers, I am a big fan of these classics, music back than it seems had meaning, and even though i wasn't even born, i tend to agree with my mom that the 50s, 60s, and the rolling 70s, where the golden age of R&B.
some of my favorite all time groups were,

My Little Princess turns One tomorrow.

Its hard to believe its almost a year since my baby girl was born, and though i am still adjusting to being a dad for the first time, all the sleepless nights, all the worries, and all the tears was worth it, to see my little girl grow up everyday, into a strong healthy young woman is priceless, and i would gladly do it all over again.

Fun, Fun, and more Fun, what can i say.

It really has been a great summer for me, over the week end i had planed to go to the Minnesota state fair, but there were so many people, and so many cars, at the fair i decided not to go, to give you an idea of what i am talking about, if you live in the twin cities, or if you have ever been in town when the Vikings or the Twins are playing, you know how bad traffic becomes, now just picture that crowd times two, i literally almost ran over some old folks, and for me that was the straw that broke the camel's back, i decided to go to fish lake park on bass lake road in Maple Grove, and what do you know, i really did have fun, i went boat riding, we BBQ at the park, i even had time to catch up on my reading. but you know what they say, all good things must come to an end, summer is almost gone, and winter is almost at our door steps, if you have live in Minnesota as long as i have, you actually can't wait till the first snow starts falling.
