Children's nutrition bill Blocked by Republicans......

House Republicans have blocked legislation to feed school meals to thousands of hungry children. Republicans used a procedural maneuver Wednesday to try to amend the $4.5 billion bill, which would give more needy children the opportunity to eat free lunches at school and make those lunches healthier. First lady Michelle Obama has lobbied for the bill as part of her "Let's Move" campaign to combat childhood obesity.

Barbara Bush to the queen of hate Sarah Palin, Stay in Alaska.................

Former First Lady Barbara Bush spoke frankly about her feelings regarding Sarah Palin the queen of the Tea party in an interview with Larry King which will be air on Monday.

When asked by King what her impressions of the former Alaska governor were, Barbara Bush quickly responded, "I sat next to her once. Thought she was beautiful. And I think she's very happy in Alaska, and I hope she'll stay there."

A U.S. judge in Arizona has put key parts of the border state's tough new immigration law on hold before it was due to come into effect on Thursday.

The U.S. Justice Department had argued provisions of the law encroached on federal authority over immigration policy and enforcement.

Arizona's Republican Governor Jan Brewer said the state plans to file an expedited appeal with the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit seeking to lift the injunction against the immigration law.

The appeals court, based in San Francisco, could consider whether to lift the injunction and let the full law go into effect or request legal briefs and arguments from both sides before ruling on Arizona's request.

While we celebrate and savor this little victory yesterday, we must still not let Arizona off the hook until the racist law SB70 is finally struck down, Abraham Lincoln one of the most beloved President of the United States once said “Don't interfere with anything in the Constitution, That must be maintained, for it is the only safeguard of our liberties,Those who deny freedom to others deserve it not for themselves.”

Arizona's Republican Governor Jan Brewer signed into state law yesterday one of the most despicable piece of legislation that almost immediately turn Arizona into a police like State.

The law, which proponents and critics alike said was the broadest and strictest immigration measure in generations, would make the failure to carry immigration documents by citizens and non-citizens alike, a crime and give the police broad power to detain anyone suspected of being in the country illegally. Opponents have called it an open invitation for harassment and discrimination against Hispanics and minorities regardless of their citizenship status.

To see such hate in Arizona was truly shocking, but i am not surprise, this is exactly what happens when right wing lunatics and racists run Government. If those Klans men in the State Capital had their way, Arizona will be an all white State, President Obama would be in the their fields picking cottons, and every one who does not look like J.D hayworth, Joe Arpaio, or Russell Pearce will be apprehended and sent to jail.

This kind of blatant racism and total lack of respect for other peoples rights should not be Ignore, Abraham Lincoln one of our greatest American President once said " those who deny Freedom to others deserve it not for themselves" and this despicable law will do just that.

We ask: Tourists to avoid Arizona, businesses and consumers to not purchase anything produced in, or shipped from Arizona; we ask all groups and associations to hold their conventions elsewhere, we ask all financial institutions to not loan to any Arizona company, business or individual, the federal Government should withhold Federal funding, if even one American Citizen right is violated, and finally we ask individuals to avoid any sort of travel to Arizona, because you risked been harassed and intimidated by their Gestapo and their Storm troopers like police.

While we all agree that illegal Immigration is a problem in this country, we have to find some other way to fight the problem other then tramping on the rights of our fellow Americans.

I watched the news with complete disgust yesterday when this one moron State Senator from Oklahoma, try to defend his position on the militia that he and the tea party folks are proposing to oppose the Federal government.
Frustrated by recent political setbacks, tea-party leaders and some conservative members of the Oklahoma Legislature say they would like to create a volunteer militia to help defend against what they say are improper federal infringements on state sovereignty.

Tea-party leaders say they've discussed the idea with several supportive lawmakers and hope to introduce legislation next year to recognize a new volunteer force.

These Tea party folks, made up of mostly racist and Nazi wannabes with their 1850 mentalities so hate the fact that a black man is President of the United States that they will do anything to discredit his presidency.
