The Burmese Malitary government ought to be ashamed of themselves.

If you are a news junkie like me and have been following the news out of the south east Asian country of Burma, i am sure you were angry and concerned for the the thousands of pro-democracy activists, who along with Buddhist monks pour unto the streets to protest the military government brutal rule. After shutting down telephone and Internet access, the military has raided the monasteries of the Monks who were protesting and brutally murdered them, and taking countless others away, with no way of knowing their fate, this is an outrage, the Burmese authority, along with all their friends who support them, like China for one, should be charged with gross human rights violations, let them be taught a lesson, that it is not OK to beat and kill unarmed people only because they want their rights.

here is an Exclusive video smuggled out of Burma showing protesters arrested and beaten by police.

These savages have no regard what so ever for human lives, let alone their own citizens, and the world must make them pay dearly for their actions.

Ne Win and the guys took over in 1962. Since then we have invaded:

1. Vietnam
2. Bombed Cambodia and Laos
3. Went to Lebanon and lost 241 guys ala Coward Ronnie.
4. Grenada--again ala Heroic Ronnie
5. Panama
6. Iraq, twice.

Somehow, we've never gotten around to Burma.

I dont think the world will make them pay at all. The UN is trying to get things done, but only China holds the key to dealing with them better.

As in Darfur, with 26,000 UN troops there, over 200,000 people have been killed in the western Sudanese region of Darfur since 2003 and more than 2 million are displaced..

It's up to the Government to act on such charges and give up these people. Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir has no such plan as of yet and the UN seems to be stalled at doing anything.

Back to Burma, only China has the closest relationship to help with this problem.

I agree, let's talk, that China needs to be a big part of dealing with this. I'm not sure what the US could do, to be frank. We have no standing in the world anymore-financially or militarily.
