Sen Obama its seems is at a lost as to how to counter the the Sarah Palin effect. today word is coming out that Barack Obama planned to "dispatch" Hillary Clinton and other prominent women Democrats to counter the energy Sarah Palin has brought into the presidential race.

The Obama camp in my opinion made a colossal mistake by not putting Sen. Clinton on the ticket, now they are about to pay a huge price for underestimating the power of women, when they loose the election in November.
I can just see them in panic mode right now and having second thoughts for not adding Clinton to the ticket. now their ego and arrogance will be the ruin of the Democratic party. as ususal,the democtats have manage to screw up big time again.

Another big mistake that Obama's campaign is making is that they are treating Sarah Palin as if she is running against Barack Obama as President. Instead of keeping her in her role as Vice President, they are trying to compare her record to Barack's. The fact of the matter is, she has more of a record and a better record of success, especially as Governor. Look at what she did for Alaska as Governor and the big zero of what Obama did as Illinois Senator...or U.S. Senator for that matter.
Then...because he can't fight Sarah on his record, he sends out....wait for it....HILLARY! and other women to do his dirty work for him because he's too incompetent to do it himself. So, he'll hide behind the skirts of women to protect him from the "big bad pit bull", but would he put a woman on his ticket? No. That speaks volumes to women all over the country. Keep treating women like secretaries who will fetch your coffee and give the important positions to men. This is the "new" so-called "progressive" party? I think it's more the "regressive" party, thanks to Obama and Howard Dean.
